Music Teacher Role at East Kent Grammar School

Are you passionate about Music education and inspiring the next generation of Musicians? Tradewind Recruitment is actively seeking a creative Music Teacher to join a thriving Music department. This is a full-time, long-term position starting in September, until the end of the academic year, with a salary ranging from £30,000 to £46,525 depending on experience.

The Role:
  1. Plan and deliver both theory and practical Music lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
  2. Attend departmental meetings and parents' evenings as required
  3. Assist in organising and overseeing school concerts, recitals, and music events
  4. Lead engaging and innovative music lessons tailored to students of all abilities and ages across KS3 and KS4
Requirements:
  • Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience teaching music in an educational setting
  • Hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional references
  • CV covering the last 10 years of employment where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
