Secondary Music Teacher

Location: Wallasey, Wirral, UK

Start Date: September 2025

Contract Type: Temporary, Long Term

Working Hours: Full-time, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Pay: Paid to scale

About the Role:

Prospero Teaching is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and passionate Secondary Music Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in the Wallasey area. As one of the fastest growing agencies in the UK, we are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic educator to inspire and nurture students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Music lessons to secondary school students.
  • Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that cater to varying student needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching in a UK secondary school.
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable, but not essential as training can be provided).
  • Right to Work in the UK.
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
  • Ability to provide two professional references.
