Job summary

Five Ways Primary School is seeking an unqualified Music Specialist Teacher for a permanent/part-time position (3 days per week) starting 1 January 2027. The role focuses on delivering engaging music lessons and inspiring pupils across Years 1–6 while supporting CPD and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in Primary Education as a Learning Assistant, HLTA, or Cover Supervisor, with a specialism in music.
• Ability to work well in a collaborative team, as well as independently.
• Willingness to develop and share outstanding teaching practice in music across the primary age range (Year 1–Year 6).
• Ability to enthuse and engage pupils through music.
• Passion for children's learning and welfare.
• Values-led with high expectations of achievement and behaviour.
• Committed to personal career progression and enhancement.
