Are you a creative teacher who can teach music production?! Are you looking for a new challenging role in Islington this September?

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a music production teacher to join this creative special school in Islington. This is a full time, long-term role starting in September 2025 and ending July 2026

The School:

This creative special school in Islington provides alternative education through a Performing Arts and Media curriculum alongside core subjects. Now housed in a brand new building at the heart of North London's Tech City area, facilities have been purpose built to offer a range of high specification specialist teaching spaces including a Theatre, Dance Studio, Recording Studio, Music Technology Suites, Film and Photography Studios. They believe that education has the power not only to enrich lives, but to transform them. The role:

• Planning and delivering exciting music production lessons to students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
• Encouraging and promoting student engagement
• Contributing to support plans and strategies to meet the needs of each student
• Collaborating with staff, parents/carers, and outside agencies
• Monitoring and recording student progress and achievements

As a Music production teacher you will need:

• Experience of teaching Music, specifically music production
• Knowledge of technology used
• A good understanding of SEMH needs in young people
• Open-minded, positive and friendly approach
• A caring and professional manner
• Must have legal right to work in the UK
