Warwickshire Music is the principal provider of music education in Warwickshire and is the lead organisation of the Warwickshire Music Hub. We teach over 12,000 pupils each week and provide instrumental, vocal and class music teaching in schools, community music centres and provide a wide range of ensembles and music groups each week for children & young people across Warwickshire.

About The Role

In response to high demand for curriculum delivery in the east of the county, we are looking for music curriculum teachers to join our team. We are particularly keen to recruit teachers who have a specialism, or experience of working with children and young people with SEN/D, face barriers to learning, and/or have SEMH needs. Teaching will take place during the school day.

Key Requirements

Our teachers are expected to be committed, enthusiastic musicians and teachers who can inspire pupils and communicate with clarity, conviction and sensitivity. You will be organised, skilled and confident in the use of technology, receptive to new ideas, ambitious for your own professional development and be able to work independently and as part of a team of professionals dedicated the musical development and safeguarding of children and young people.

Teacher Pay

Teacher pay is based upon hourly rates ranging from £29.51 to £40.66 per hour. Pay is annualised and paid as a monthly salary throughout the year. Teaching hours may increase or decrease through the year in response to demand. Travel expenses are also paid, where travel between venues is required as part of the role, and our teaching roles benefit from membership of the Teacher Pension Scheme.
