Job Description:

We are partnering with a global Tier 1 investment bank to hire a Murex Risk Business Analyst to work in their Markets and Treasury division. This role involves configuring, maintaining, and optimizing the Murex platform, focusing on Risk, XVA, and Regulatory Compliance (including FRTB). You will collaborate with business stakeholders, IT, and compliance teams to ensure the system meets business needs and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include:

• Configuring and supporting Murex for risk, XVA, and treasury functions
• Implementing regulatory initiatives like FRTB
• Conducting business analysis, gathering requirements, and creating functional specifications
• Leading testing phases: system testing, integration, UAT
• Providing second and third-line support, incident resolution
• Collaborating with teams to manage stakeholder expectations
• Driving platform improvements and optimization

Requirements:

• Deep knowledge of Murex architecture, especially Risk and XVA modules
• Experience with MxML workflows, scripting, and automation
• Risk configuration experience including VaR, PFE, stress testing, and limit management
• Experience implementing CVA, DVA, FVA, MVA in Murex
• Understanding of FRTB and capital regulatory frameworks
• Ability to support Standardized and Internal Model Approaches in Murex
• Experience optimizing Murex for large-scale risk and real-time performance
• Integration skills with upstream/downstream systems using MxML Exchange
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience in investment banking or financial services
• Murex certifications or project management skills are a plus
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
