Murex Risk Business Analyst – London

Location: London | Client: Tier 1 Multinational Investment Bank

We’re partnering with a global Tier 1 investment bank to hire a Murex Risk Business Analyst for their Markets and Treasury team. This role involves working in a dynamic environment, focusing on regulatory, risk, and XVA initiatives.

Role Overview

Configure, maintain, and optimize the Murex platform, focusing on Risk, XVA, and Regulatory Compliance (including FRTB). Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure system alignment with business and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support Murex for risk, XVA, and treasury functions
• Enhance and support regulatory initiatives like FRTB
• Conduct business analysis and gather requirements
• Lead testing phases: system testing, UAT
• Provide support and incident resolution
• Manage stakeholder expectations
• Drive platform improvements

What We’re Looking For

Murex Expertise

• Deep knowledge of Murex architecture, especially Risk and XVA modules
• Experience with MxML workflows, scripting, and automation
• Risk configuration experience including VaR, PFE, stress testing

XVA & Regulatory Knowledge

• Experience implementing CVA, DVA, FVA, MVA in Murex
• Understanding of FRTB and capital frameworks
• Support for Standardized & Internal Model Approaches

Performance & Integration

• Optimize Murex for large-scale risk and real-time performance
• Integrate with other systems using MxML Exchange

Your Background

• Bachelor’s in Finance, Computer Science, or related field
• Experience in investment banking or financial services
• Murex certifications or project management experience (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills
