Job summary

Luxoft is seeking an experienced Murex Production Support Consultant to enhance Front Office capabilities and drive reliable production support across FX, Commodities, and derivatives. You will partner with traders, sales and BI teams to translate business requirements into robust Murex solutions.

The role involves incident, change, and problem management, continuous improvement of the Murex platform, and collaboration with onshore/offshore teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years on Murex in Support, BA, Change, or Front Office roles.
• Strong FX fundamentals and trade lifecycle understanding.
• Experience with Murex modules and batch tooling.

Responsibilities

• Act as senior member of Murex Change and Support team for Front Office functions.
• Serve as primary functional contact for Front Office users, traders, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with client and Luxoft teams across onshore and offshore locations to deliver support and change initiatives.
• Analyze, document, and translate complex business requirements into Murex solutions.
• Provide expert Front Office support for FX, Commodities, and derivative products.
• Investigate and resolve complex production issues related to trade capture, pricing, risk, market data, and lifecycle events.
• Drive incident, problem, and change management activities per banking SLAs.
• Support market openings, trading support, and regulatory change initiatives.
• Perform impact analysis for new requirements and enhancements.
• Mentor junior consultants and provide functional leadership.
• Work closely with development, infrastructure, and vendor teams for sustainable solutions.

A leading European bank is expanding its Murex support and change capability. We are seeking an experienced Murex Production Support Consultant with strong expertise in front office and exposure to Commodities and other derivative products. The consultant will play a key role in supporting Front Office trading operations, driving functional enhancements, resolving complex production issues, and acting as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders.The role involves close collaboration with traders, sales teams, business analysts, technology teams, and senior stakeholders across onshore and offshore locations. The successful candidate will be expected to provide functional leadership, contribute to strategic initiatives, and ensure stability and continuous improvement of the Murex platform.

• Support business-critical activities including market openings, trading support, and regulatory or operational change initiatives.
• Perform impact analysis for new business requirements and system enhancements.
• Mentor junior consultants and provide functional leadership within the support team.
• Work closely with development, infrastructure, and vendor teams to deliver sustainable solutions and platform improvements.

SKILLS

Must have

• 10+ years of experience working on Murex platforms in Support, Business Analysis, Change, or Front Office-facing roles.
• Strong functional expertise in FX products including Spot, Forward, Swap, NDF, FX Options, and related trade lifecycle processes.
• Good exposure to Commodities products and associated business workflows.
• Strong understanding of Front Office trading operations, pricing, risk management, P&L, and trade lifecycle management.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Murex modules including:o MxML Exchangeo Datamart and Reportingo MRE/MRE VARo Realtime Processingo Market Data Configurationo Trade Workflows and Lifecycle Events
• Strong troubleshooting and production support experience in complex Murex environments.
• Excellent knowledge of financial markets, derivatives, and capital markets products.
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis, troubleshooting, and reporting.
• Strong Unix/Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience supporting RHEL environments, Java processes, and middleware components.
• Experience with batch scheduling and monitoring tools such as Control-M and Control-M AFT.
• Strong understanding of Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Management processes within investment banking environments.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Exposure to AWS Cloud environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Willingness to participate in shift-based support and production release activities.

Nice to have

• Experience with Murex Risk, Market Risk, VAR, and P&L reporting frameworks.
• Exposure to Fixed Income, Interest Rate Derivatives, or Credit products.
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and JIRA.
• Knowledge of Murex upgrade, migration, or implementation projects.
• Experience leading small functional teams and mentoring consultants.
• Exposure to cloud-native monitoring and observability tools.
