Job summary

Consult in London is seeking a Murex Front Office SME to support a Treasury upgrade project. The role links Treasury business users with technology, ensuring trading, pricing, risk, lifecycle and migration requirements are understood, tested and signed off in the upgraded MX.3 platform.

You'll lead impact assessment, configuration review, regression testing, cutover planning and post-go-live support, working hybrid from London with ASAP start and a day-rate of £600 Inside IR35.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on MX.3 experience, ideally on upgrade or migration.
• Deep front-office knowledge of interest-rate, FX and money-market products.
• Experience designing and running regression and reconciliation testing.
• Ability to work directly with business stakeholders.

Murex Front Office SME – Treasury Upgrade Project

Location: London (hybrid) | Start: ASAP | Rate: £600/day (INSIDE IR35)

About the role

We are upgrading the Murex MX.3 platform that runs Treasury for a UK based financial company. We are looking for an experienced Front Office SME to act as the link between Treasury and technology, making sure trading, pricing, risk, lifecycle and migration requirements are properly understood, tested and signed off in the upgraded platform.

What you’ll do

• Lead Front Office SME input across impact assessment, requirements, configuration review, regression testing, reconciliation, migration, cutover and post-go-live validation.
• Assess impacts on trade capture, pricing, valuation, curves, P&L and sensitivities, lifecycle events, and downstream processes.
• Investigate valuation, risk, and processing differences between current and upgraded Murex environments, providing evidence that business stakeholders can review and sign off
• Support migration rehearsals, cutover readiness, go/no-go input and early-life production support.

What we’re looking for

• Significant hands-on MX.3 experience, ideally on an upgrade, migration or major transformation.
• Deep front-office knowledge of interest-rate, FX and money-market products in a multi-currency balance-sheet treasury context.
• Practical command of pricing, curve construction, PV and risk sensitivities, and lifecycle events.
• Deep knowledge of Murex components/modules: trade capture and pricing screens, simulation, curves, static data, pre-trade. Knowledge of DM reporting, MxML is a plus.
• Proven ability to design and run regression and reconciliation testing, and to analyse and explain valuation or risk differences between environments.
