Norton Blake Limited is seeking an experienced Murex Integration/Migration Specialist to support the integration and migration of a Murex platform across London and Midlands with a hybrid working pattern.

You will design, develop and support interfaces, perform data extraction, transformation, mapping and validation, and collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure accurate data movement and smooth cutovers.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Murex/MX.3.
• Proven experience on Murex integration and/or migration projects.
• Good understanding of Murex interfaces and integration with external systems.
• Strong SQL skills and data migration, mapping, transformation and validation.
• Experience scripting/automation for data processing and migration.
• Knowledge of APIs, messaging, batch processing and file-based interfaces.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and support integrations between Murex and upstream/downstream systems.
• Support end-to-end Murex migration activities including data extraction, transformation, mapping, validation and loading.
• Analyse source and target data structures and define migration/transformation rules.
• Develop and maintain interfaces, integration workflows, and data feeds.
• Perform reconciliation and validation of migrated data for completeness and accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve integration, interface, and data migration issues.
• Support migration rehearsals, testing cycles, cutover activities and production implementation.
• Collaborate with Murex functional teams, developers, architects, business analysts, and infrastructure teams.
• Support SIT/UAT and troubleshoot defects related to interfaces and migrated data.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation on integrations, mappings, migration logic, and procedures.

Murex Integration Developer, 6 months, London/Midlands/Hybrid, £660/day (Inside IR35)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Murex Integration/Migration Specialist to support the integration and migration activities of a Murex platform. The role will focus on integrating Murex with surrounding systems, supporting data migration activities, and ensuring the accurate and reliable movement of data across the target architecture. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on Murex experience combined with solid knowledge of integration patterns, data mapping, transformation, and migration processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support integrations between Murex and upstream/downstream systems.
• Support end-to-end Murex migration activities, including data extraction, transformation, mapping, validation, and loading.
• Analyse source and target data structures and define appropriate migration and transformation rules.
• Develop and maintain interfaces, integration workflows, and data feeds.
• Perform reconciliation and validation of migrated data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve integration, interface, and data migration issues.
• Support migration rehearsals, testing cycles, cutover activities, and production implementation.
• Work closely with Murex functional teams, developers, architects, business analysts, and infrastructure teams.
• Support SIT/UAT and troubleshoot defects related to interfaces and migrated data.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation covering integrations, mappings, migration logic, and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands‑on experience with Murex/MX.3.
• Proven experience working on Murex integration and/or migration projects.
• Good understanding of Murex interfaces and integration with external systems.
• Strong experience with data migration, data mapping, transformation, reconciliation, and validation.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
• Experience with Scripting and/or automation for data processing and migration.
• Good understanding of integration concepts such as APIs, messaging, batch processing, and file‑based interfaces.
• Experience troubleshooting complex technical and data‑related issues.
• Experience working across development, testing, migration, and production environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with large-scale Murex transformation or upgrade programmes.
• Understanding of capital markets and financial instruments.
• Experience working with front‑to‑back trading environments.
• Knowledge of cloud or modern integration technologies.
• Experience with migration cutovers and production go-live activities.
