Job summary

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Multi Skilled Trainer to plan and deliver statutory and mandatory training across multiple locations. The role focuses on moving and handling, resuscitation and prevention and management of violence and aggression, ensuring compliance with legislation and trust standards.

Experience in health or care training is preferred, with a background in education not strictly required.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or demonstrable evidence of experience at or to degree level.
• Evidence of continued professional development

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and preparation of statutory and mandatory training programmes.
• Deliver high quality training with equality, diversity and inclusion central, in moving and handling, resuscitation, and prevention and management of violence and aggression.
• Ensure the Trust meets governmental and legislative standards for mandatory training.
• Use the Virtual Learning Environment to deliver, record and track learning.
• Support assessment, planning and delivery of specialist courses reflecting complex community needs and hospital and community environments.
• Risk assess learner safety when designing and delivering training.
• Guide associate trainers and staff who assist with mandatory training, escalating issues to subject matter experts.
• Maintain links with clinical services and develop collaborative relationships.
• Provide dynamic risk assessments and guidance to clinical services with support of the lead.
• Apply flexible learning methods to meet different learning needs of staff.
• Act as point of contact for advice, support and training on mandatory training issues.
• Be responsible for training equipment and ensure its safe use by others through teaching and supervision
