Job description

We are currently seeking a Multi Trade Operative who is also capable of undertaking a wide range of carpentry, construction and refurbishment duties, including kitchens to a high standard with a right first-time approach.

Within this role your main responsibilities will include:

  1. Undertaking construction and refurbishment works, improvement works, cyclical maintenance and reactive repair works using your core trade skill and a range of additional construction skills (Carpentry, Plumbing, Tiling and Plastering).
  2. Planning, organising, and delivering excellent quality works.
  3. Working within Property Care.
  4. Using a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) to record accurate information.
  5. Ensuring that works are completed to schedule and to budget expectations.
  6. Meeting productivity targets showing commercial awareness and aptitude in your approach to work.
  7. Ensuring that high value van stocks, materials, plant, and equipment are used correctly and safely, protected from loss or theft and are maintained in accordance with health and safety guidelines.

Our ideal candidate will:

  1. Be a qualified tradesperson with extensive experience.
  2. Have experience of working within social housing/residential properties.
  3. Be a skilled communicator who understands the importance of being customer focused.
  4. Hold a full UK driving licence.
  5. Be highly organised and capable of planning and prioritising their workload.
