Job summary

Adler & Allan is seeking a hands-on HGV Driver and Technician for a high-impact role in England. You’ll perform tanker driving, groundworks, tank installations, and spill clean-ups while supporting emergency response teams and training to national grid and rail standards.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, flexibility, and willingness to travel for sites and assignments, with on-site duties across diverse environments.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence and ADR preferred but not essential.
• Experience with RAMS documentation.
• Experience of tachograph use and vehicle checks (training can be provided).
• Flexible, can-do attitude; some overtime and call-outs required.
• Background in multi-skilled trade work or plant operation is a bonus.
• Willingness to stay away from home; hotels and travel covered.

Looking for a hands-on, high-impact role where every day is different? We’re hiring a HGV Driver and Technician that isn't afraid to get stuck in on the additional hands on tasks! If you have experience in HGV Class 2 and groundworks or remediation and a knack for problem-solving, we want you on board.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Tanker driving – operating company vehicles HGV/Class 2 Class 1
• High-pressure water jetting and spill clean-ups
• Groundworks, remedial works and Tank uplifts
• Tank/interceptor installation, servicing, and inspections
• Spill response and industrial cleaning duties
• Supporting emergency response teams when duty calls
• Training up to national grid & rail standards
