Multiskilled Technician Vacancy

Location: Ilkeston
Salary: Up to £48,753 DOE + OTE up to £55K
Hours: 42.5 p/wk, Mon - Fri 8am to 5pm. Maybe a Saturday morning as overtime as required.

We are currently recruiting for a Multiskilled Technician working for our client in the Ilkeston area. Must be able to do MET / Panel / Paint roles.

This is an opportunity for a Multiskilled Technician to join our client's site based in the Ilkeston area. They are offering excellent working conditions, the very latest equipment, a company that prides itself on quality, and very good money / company benefits.

Multiskilled Technician Role:

1. Carrying out all repair work required on the vehicles.
2. Making sure the vehicle is fixed to a high standard and meets all safety requirements.
3. Assessing work needed on the vehicle as to whether it should be repaired or whether a new part is needed.
4. Recognising and documenting any additional work required.
5. Flat the surface and apply primer followed by the topcoat of paint, followed by the lacquer, then polish to a finish.

Multiskilled Technician Requirements:

1. You will ideally be qualified to NVQ level 3 or the City and Guilds equivalent, although time-served Vehicle painters, SMART Repairers, and Preppers with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
2. The client will provide any equipment that is standard to all bodyshops.
3. Bodyshop painters, panel beaters, and preppers who fit the above criteria are encouraged to apply.
4. Good understanding of bodyshop procedures.
