Electrical Shift Engineer - Kettering (Commutable from Corby, Wellingborough, Rushden, Huntingdon, Peterborough, Market Harborough)

Salary: £60,000-£65,000
Monday - Friday (hybrid options available)

Our client is a leading FMCG manufacturer. Due to an upcoming retirement, they are looking to appoint an electrically biased engineer to work alongside a mechanically biased engineer on shift. The role offers training and development opportunities and extended time off.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Carry out reactive maintenance to production machinery in a timely manner
• Complete machine PPM schedules to minimize downtime
• Electrical and some mechanical fault finding
• Record works on the software system
• Assist on project work during factory shutdowns

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Experience as an electrical engineer in an FMCG industry
• Electrical qualification such as NVQ level 3, HNC or HND
• A strong team player who is keen to learn and develop
