Job summary

Masstemps is currently recruiting for an experienced Multiskilled Service Engineer to join a busy manufacturing company near the Walsall area. You will install, service and maintain industrial washer systems on client sites and in-house.

The role requires TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminium, fault finding across mechanical, electrical and PLC systems, and a full UK driving licence for nationwide travel.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a multi-skilled mechanical role.
• Must have proven experience in TIG welding.
• Ability to fault-find across mechanical, electrical, and basic PLC/control systems.
• Comfortable reading technical drawings and service documentation.
• Full UK driving licence (site work is a requirement of this role - both internationally and nationwide).
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Installing, servicing, and maintaining industrial washer systems on client sites and in-house.
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and control system faults.
• Undertake TIG Welding predominately on stainless steel and aluminium to repair machinery and products
• Carrying out routine preventative maintenance and inspections
• Mechanical installation of machinery to manufacturer specifications
• Reading and interpreting technical diagrams, wiring schematics, and service manuals
• Completing service documentation accurately and in a timely manner
