Multiskilled Repair Technician

Location: Chelmsford

Basic Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week

Extras: 30 days holiday, flexible working

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Multiskilled Repair Technician / Multiskilled Paint Sprayer / Smart Repairer to join a busy and professional Accident Repair Centre in Aberdeen. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in high-quality craftsmanship, thrives in a dynamic workshop environment, and has experience across both panel and paint work.

Key Responsibilities of a Multiskilled Repair Technician / Multiskilled Paint Sprayer / Smart Repairer:

• Carry out high-quality paint refinishing and minor panel repairs on vehicles of various makes and models
• Prepare vehicles for painting, including filler work, masking, priming and sanding
• Mix and apply water-based and solvent-based paint systems
• Perform full re-sprays, blend-ins, and SMART repairs
• Ensure a flawless final finish through detailed inspections
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Essential Skills and Qualifications for a Multiskilled Repair Technician / Multiskilled Paint Sprayer / Smart Repairer:

• Proven experience in a Multiskilled Repair Technician / Multiskilled Paint Sprayer / Smart Repairer or Paint Sprayer role
• Strong knowledge of body repair techniques and modern paint processes
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high standards
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team
• Familiarity with current repair tools and technology
