Role – Multi Skilled Operative – Glasgow (Cambuslang) Site

Hourly rate: £15.32 per hour + Overtime

Opportunity to earn additional hourly rate between £0.25 - £4.38 based on skill set and behaviours.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Operative to join our successful team at Portakabin Site Accommodation based in Glasgow.

In this role, you will refurbish and fit out our buildings to high standards, carrying out rectifications and supporting the installation and dismantling of buildings alongside our hauliers.

Role Responsibilities

• Undertake preparation and decoration of internal and external surfaces.
• Perform basic joinery tasks such as installing partition walls, doors, and windows.
• Carry out basic plumbing tasks including sink and toilet installation, waste and drainage management, copper and push-fit fittings.
• Support basic electrical work including sockets, heaters, and lighting, especially during preparation and first fix on site.
• Assist in general fitting out and refurbishment of buildings on and off-site.
• Erect access platforms and operate mechanical plant for above-ground work.
• Prioritize health and safety, ensuring policies are followed and hazards are reported.
• Support the team in delivering a customer-focused and efficient service.
• Utilize reused fittings and materials where possible without compromising quality.
• Proven experience in joinery, plumbing, painting, decorating, and electrics.
• Build effective relationships with customers and staff.
• Approach demanding goals with enthusiasm.
• Demonstrate good organization and planning skills.
• Plan, organize, and solve problems effectively.
• Experience in customer focus and decision making.
• Hold a full UK Driving Licence.
