Multiskilled Maintenance Technician - Electrical Bias

Are you a hardworking Multiskilled Maintenance Technician looking for a new work opportunity? This electrically biased Maintenance Technician role could be the perfect fit for you! This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the efficient operation of a truly innovative, market-leading plant, as well as assisting with maintenance of our clients' manufactured units.

Salary: Up to £40k p/a DOE with significant OT available

Location: Peterborough

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead, execute, and manage maintenance projects throughout the plant
  2. Refurbish and fabricate equipment, including PVC and stainless-steel pipework
  3. Handle low-voltage electrical equipment safely and effectively
  4. Carry out fault-finding, installation, and maintenance of instrumentation systems
  5. Perform calibrations and loop checking of DCS/control systems
  6. Ensure electrical systems are compliant with safety regulations
  7. Implement and maintain safety protocols, including risk assessments
  8. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (LEAN/KAIZEN)
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Electrically qualified including: 18th Edition (BS 7671) Wiring Regulations and Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • Electrical Testing and Inspection (2391) is desired but not essential
  • Previous experience within industrial electrical work
  • IT literate and competent in Microsoft Office
  • Strong background in EHS and quality standards
  • Fabrication and welding experience, particularly with PVC and stainless-steel
