Job summary

Quotient Sciences, at Arcinova, seeks a Multi-Skilled Technician to join the Maintenance Team responsible for site utilities, plant equipment and building infrastructure. The role includes planned preventive maintenance, corrective tasks and safe operation of the BMS.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: HNC (or equivalent) in engineering.
• Demonstrated multi-skilled capability in electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Knowledge of building services and computer maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Previous similar role experience is advantageous; site-specific training provided if needed.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; self-motivated with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance according to the scheduled programme.
• Identify and perform corrective and reactive maintenance to keep plant/equipment at optimum.
• Operate the BMS control system to monitor performance.
• Carry out safe system shutdowns and isolations.
• Ensure work complies with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Work with health & safety considerations and supervise contractor personnel.
• Be flexible to work across the site to meet business needs.
• Carry out general maintenance on HVAC, piping services and electrical systems.
• Work on Steam Generation and Distribution Systems (training provided).
• Carry out portable appliance testing of electrical equipment.
• Participate in the out of hours callout rota.
