Job summary

Synergi Recruitment is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer in Chichester to maintain high-speed production machinery on a 12-hour shift pattern.

The role requires apprentice-trained electrical maintenance expertise, a NVQ3 in electrical engineering, and at least 2 years in manufacturing engineering. Proficiency with CMMS and PLCs is essential for ongoing improvements and data recording.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained electrical maintenance engineer with a /NVQ3 in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Ability to work a rotation pattern.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Excellent knowledge of manufacturing engineering equipment, with experience on production lines, warehouses and distribution centres.
• Understanding of PLC control system architecture and field control devices.
• Strong MS Office skills and experience with CMMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance including planned and reactive maintenance on high speed production machinery.
• Record all relevant data, including refurbishment and overhauls.
• Support operations by developing training materials.
• Work with other teams to identify and solve problems.
• Continually improve equipment maintenance strategies.
• Analyse PLC faults and diagnose external faults using various software programs.
