Overview

The Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that machinery and equipment are maintained to a high standard, minimising downtime and ensuring efficient production processes. This role is ideal for a skilled professional with experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults promptly to minimise downtime.
  • Work collaboratively with production teams to address maintenance priorities effectively.
  • Carry out inspections and testing of equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs and servicing schedules.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns during night shifts and implement immediate solutions.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment as required.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the engineering and manufacturing environment.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Experience in both mechanical and electrical maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
