Job summary

Twinings in Andover is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to maintain and optimise mechanical and electrical systems across production and warehousing facilities. The role includes supporting continuous improvement projects and delivering safe, reliable operations.

You will underpin manufacturing at the Andover site with planned and reactive maintenance, working in a 3-shift pattern (6-2/2-10/10-6) and collaborating across teams to drive productivity and quality.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained electrical/mechanical engineer.
• C&G/NVQ3 in electrical/mechanical engineering.
• At least 5 years' experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Working knowledge of warehousing, distribution, logistics and production lines.
• Ability to work in a 3 shift rotation (6-2/2-10/10-6).
• Computer literate and able to use CMMS system.

Responsibilities

• Complete planned and reactive maintenance activities, recording and reporting all relevant data.
• Overhauling and refurbishing parts and equipment.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and solve problems.
• Identify and implement machine modifications and upgrades.
• Develop training material and upskill operations team.
• Refine equipment maintenance strategies via best-practice methods.
• Deliver performance and improvement initiatives against maintenance KPIs.
