Job summary

H9 Technical in Stockport is seeking two Multiskilled Maintenance Engineers to join a fast-paced manufacturing site. You will maintain production equipment, reduce downtime and support continuous improvement across the plant.

Two shifts are offered: Double Days and Permanent Nights. You will perform planned maintenance, diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, and work with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors and drives while documenting all activities.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance engineering experience within manufacturing.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Mechanical and electrical maintenance experience.
• Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
• PLC fault-finding experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown support.
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding.
• Maintenance of machinery.
• Working with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, drives and automated equipment.
• Supporting improvement projects and equipment upgrades.
• Completing maintenance documentation and reports.
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
