Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is recruiting a Junior Maintenance Engineer in Telford, Shropshire. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance of diverse industrial machinery, with a day shift Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm and Friday 8:30am-4:00pm.

You will work in a manufacturing environment, perform fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems, contribute to improvement projects, and report to the engineering manager.

Qualifications

• Multiskilled maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Formal mechanical and/or electrical qualifications (Level 3+).
• Experience in manufacturing industry.
• Strong fault-finding capability.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive maintenance across a variety of industrial machinery.
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repair activities.
• Reporting on recurrent breakdowns, providing reports to the engineering manager.
• Assisting in engineering improvement projects to improve machinery performance.
• Conducting all work in a H&S conscious fashion.
• Working within a team of skilled maintenance engineers.
