Overview

The Role

Our client is a Telford-based manufacturer of consumable products, supplying into domestic and international markets. They are looking for a multiskilled maintenance engineer to join their highly skilled maintenance team on the 4/4 shift pattern. The role offers excellent technical development and variety, a dynamic and meticulous working environment and outstanding salary and benefits package.

What you'll be doing
  • PPM and Reactive Maintenance on a wide range of mechanical and electrical machinery and equipment
  • Facilities maintenance and repair
  • Participating in the development and optimization of maintenance processes, procedures, and policies
  • Seek out and exploit opportunities for continuous improvement and best practice initiatives.
  • Optimize the performance and longevity of machinery, equipment, component parts, and tools
What you'll need
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (minimum)
  • 17th or 18th Edition
  • High level of problem-solving ability
  • PLC Fault-finding
  • A minimum of 5+ years' maintenance engineering experience
  • A strong manufacturing background - any discipline (FMCG or similar desirable)
  • Able to read electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Knowledge of or experience working to ISO9001 standards
  • PLC programming and/or knowledge of change ladder logic (desirable)
