Job summary

CV Technical Ltd is a manufacturing engineering employer seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a Newton Aycliffe site. The role focuses on keeping production machinery and site equipment running efficiently through planned and reactive maintenance.

The candidate will diagnose faults and service motors, drives, pneumatics and hydraulics, with strong PLC knowledge and a proactive approach, in a stable environment with ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Desirable: engineering qualification or apprenticeship.
• Experience with PLCs, drives, pneumatics and hydraulics advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventive maintenance (PPM).
• Responding to breakdowns and fault finding.
• Mechanical and electrical maintenance of production machinery.
• Diagnosing faults and getting equipment back up and running.
• Working on motors, sensors, drives, conveyors, pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records.
