Job summary

E3 Recruitment represents a global chemical manufacturer in Warrington seeking a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to sustain plant reliability across mechanical and EC&I systems.

The role reports to the Maintenance Manager, focusing on planned and reactive maintenance, SAP PM, and site project support within a safety-driven engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Time-served engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications (e.g. HNC/HND).
• Multiskilled experience across Mechanical and EC&I disciplines.
• Experience in chemical, manufacturing or process industries.
• Strong knowledge of pumps, motors, drives, instrumentation and control systems.
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical and control drawings.
• Experience using SAP PM or similar CMMS.
• Excellent fault-finding, problem-solving and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical, electrical, control and instrumentation systems.
• Fault find and diagnose issues across complex process plant equipment.
• Carry out maintenance activities in line with SAP PM schedules.
• Support commissioning, plant modifications and improvement projects.
• Maintain compliance with HSE procedures, permits and isolation standards.
• Work closely with production teams, engineering colleagues and contractors.
• Update maintenance records and work orders within SAP CMMS systems.
• Participate in the site on-call engineering rota.

The Role of Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the successful Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer will play a key role in maintaining plant equipment, infrastructure and site reliability through planned, preventative and reactive maintenance activities across both Mechanical and EC&I disciplines.

• Experience using SAP PM or similar maintenance management systems
• Excellent fault-finding, problem-solving and organisational skills
