Qualifications

• A time served engineer with a minimum HNC/HND qualification in an Engineering discipline is essential.
• Excellent trouble-shooter with the ability to resolve problems effectively and within a cost-effective manner.
• Confident decision maker who understands the commercial implications of decisions.

Job description

Our client are an established, thriving manufacturer with a requirement for an experienced Multiskilled (Electrical bias) Maintenance Technician to join their team.

Main duties:

• To ensure efficient production
• Ensure products are produced exactly as intended and are free of defects.
• Perform equipment setup and operation
• Preventative maintenance
• Run tests and identify potential solutions
• Monitoring outputs
• Troubleshooting
• Monitor product quality
• Apply lean manufacturing principles
• Monitor and control processes
• Identify and debug problems
• Servicing

Skills required

• A time served engineer with minimum HNC/HND qualification in an Engineering discipline is essential.
• Excellent trouble-shooter with the ability to resolve problems effectively and within a cost effect manner

This position is shift work. This is a full time, permanent role and is available immediately.
