Job description

Multiskilled Engineer

Yolk Recruitment is currently working with a long-standing Welsh business that is looking for an Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

You will be working independently, covering 4 production lines on a 4on 4off shift pattern (2 days/2 nights).

Responsibilities of a Multiskilled Engineer
  • Provide electrical and mechanical support and knowledge on all lines within the plant.
  • Utilise PLCs to fault find and repair using Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
  • Ensure maximum machine availability through effective planned preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Work collaboratively with other plant engineers and team leaders to focus on achieving machine maintenance hours on planned work.
  • Install machinery and site services equipment.
Experience Required
  • Proven electrical and mechanical knowledge supporting all production lines within the plant.
  • Proactive equipment testing, fault finding, and repair skills.
  • PLC fault finding and modification experience using Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
  • Ability to work independently.
Benefits

If successful, you will earn a base salary up to £53,000, rising to £55,000 after probation, with numerous overtime opportunities. Current engineers earn upwards of £60,000 plus benefits.
