Job summary

A renowned UK food production company based in Fife is looking for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to support their engineering function. This role involves proactive/reactive maintenance, assessing your workload to minimize downtime, and supporting the install of new machines. Candidates should have an HND/HNC or equivalent in electrical or multiskilled qualifications, ideally with manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained, preferably with electrical or multiskilled qualification.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Must have some element of multiskilling.

Responsibilities

• Perform proactive/reactive maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Assess and prioritize workload to minimize downtime.
• Support installation of new machines and equipment.

• Proactive/reactive maintenance within a manufacturing environment
• In the absence of immediate supervisor, assess and prioritise your own workload to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum.
• Support the install of new machines and equipment to manufacturer specifications.

Requirements

• Apprentice trained, HND/HNC or equivalent electrical or multiskilled qualification
• Fast paced manufacturing experience is desirable
• Working knowledge of conveyors, pumps, gearboxes & motors will be expected in this role
• Manufacturing background would be preferred but not essential
• Must have some element of multiskilling for this role
