Job summary

H & H Group PLC is recruiting a Level 3 Machinist Apprentice to join their team for an immediate start. Based at Group sites, you will develop practical skills, learn maintenance procedures and support safe operation of equipment under supervision.

You will participate in workplace learning, formal training and assessments, progressing toward greater responsibilities as training progresses. GCSEs in Maths and English are required.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in maintenance, engineering, buildings or practical work.
• Commitment to safe working and following instructions.
• Practical mindset; good communication; team player.
• Willing to complete apprenticeship training and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monitoring facilities and working conditions across Group sites.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks as trained.
• Support inspection, servicing, repair and safe operation of equipment and machinery.
• Provide information to Facilities Manager for repairs or replacements.
• Assist with obtaining tenders/quotations for external contractors.
