DYWIDAG’s Southam facility seeks a Factory Operative to support receipt, manufacture, storage and dispatch of products. The role is multi-skilled and requires flexibly across goods in, goods out, order picking, bar cutting, materials handling, ground-anchor manufacture, stock-control support and waste-management activities.

You will work safely to procedures, check documentation, and maintain accurate records while keeping work areas clean and orderly.

Mansioni

• Receive incoming goods and check deliveries against documentation.
• Unload, inspect and store materials in correct locations.
• Pick, pack and stage customer and production orders on time.
• Prepare outgoing goods and ensure loads are secure for dispatch.
• Load/unload vehicles with trained banksmen following traffic procedures.
• Operate band saws to cut materials to tolerances per orders.
• Operate cranes, lifting equipment within rated capacities and safety rules.
• Operate forklifts where trained and authorised.
• Manufacture and assemble ground anchors per drawings and work instructions.
• Record quality checks and report non-conforming materials.
• Assist with stock-control activities and investigate discrepancies.
• Handle waste following correct streams and environmental requirements.
• Complete records for production, goods movement and equipment checks.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas and equipment.
• Support colleagues across factory and warehouse activities.
• Contribute ideas to improve safety, quality, productivity and flow.
