You will maintain, repair and improve production machinery and site equipment, combining maintenance expertise with fabrication skills to boost reliability and performance. Qualifications
Apprentice trained or ONC qualified in fabrication.
Experience with planned and reactive maintenance in manufacturing.
Strong MIG/TIG/Stick welding skills.
Good fault-finding abilities and mechanical troubleshooting.
Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
Strong communicator and a proactive team player.
Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
Diagnose and repair machine faults across the site, delivering effective solutions.
Lead fabrication activities to support maintenance and site improvements.
Assist with machinery installations, upgrades and site projects.
Ensure equipment complies with health, safety and legal requirements.
Collaborate with stores, contractors and colleagues to keep operations running smoothly.
Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and efficiency.
Maintain accurate maintenance and breakdown records.
