Are you an experienced multi-skilled engineer with an electrical bias?

Do you have experience working in an industrial environment on maintenance of plant machinery?

We are currently looking for a multiskilled-electrically biased maintenance engineer to join our team in Manchester.

About the Role
  • Location: Newton Heath, Manchester
  • Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 07:00-15:00 or 08:00-16:00
What will I be doing as a multiskilled engineer?
  • Leading all electrical tasks and supporting mechanical issues when needed, ensuring plant machinery meets regulatory standards.
  • Reactive breakdown resolution including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical maintenance.
  • Participating in planned yearly shutdowns.
  • Traveling to other sites in the area for operational needs, including installation works.
  • Mentoring and supporting apprentices during their development.
What are the requirements?
  • NVQ level 3 in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Experience with electrical and mechanical maintenance of industrial machinery, including conveyors, motors, VSD/VFD, Estop circuits, domestic installations, etc.
  • Ability to read schematic drawings.
