Scottish Water is looking for an E&M Multiskilled craftsperson with an Electrical bias to support our Engineering and Maintenance team in Aberdeen. The role covers fault finding, installation, maintenance and repair of critical wastewater infrastructure, working with a range of electrical and mechanical equipment.

You will operate in a time-sensitive environment, often in confined spaces, with lone-working and a standby rota.

Qualifications

• Full apprenticeship completed and an HNC or NC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Site-based role may involve travel to outlying sites and lone working.
• Requires a full GB-issued Driving Licence (DVLA) to reach sites.
• Standby rota with standby retainer paid.
• Strong commitment to Health & Safety and safe working practices.

Responsabilités

• Deliver proactive E&M service to ensure plant and equipment at wastewater sites are safe and functioning.
• Fault find and diagnose using electrical and mechanical knowledge, often under time pressure.
• Work in confined spaces and across a range of equipment including motors, starters, generators and instrumentation.
• Coordinate with the office support team to plan resources and respond to incidents, both reactive and planned.
