Job summary

Sodexo are recruiting for a Building Services Multiskilled Engineer at Wyke Way, Melton HU14 3BQ. The role covers building fabric and building services, combining planned and reactive maintenance with fault finding and repairs.

You will work alongside facilities and engineering colleagues and contractors, responding to maintenance requests, completing minor works and supporting site operations.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship/NVQ Level 3 in engineering/building-services discipline
• Practical multi-trade building maintenance experience
• Fault finding and safe, hands-on repairs
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and risk assessments
• Ability to work independently and plan workload
• IT literacy including CMMS and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Complete planned, corrective and reactive maintenance across building fabric and services
• Diagnose faults, make safe, repair or replace components
• Carry out practical multi-trade work (joinery, doors, fittings, painting, flooring)
• Provide first-line response to basic plumbing issues
• Carry out minor electrical building-services tasks when trained
• Complete routine inspections, meter readings and condition checks
• Support and supervise apprentices and contractors
• Maintain tools, PPE, and storage areas
• Record CMMS/work orders accurately
• Communicate progress and risks to teams
