Job summary

Sodexo in Reading is seeking a Building Services Multiskilled Technician to maintain and develop our client facilities. You’ll carry out planned and reactive maintenance across building services, diagnose faults, and support minor installations to keep systems safe and compliant.

You will work independently and as part of a larger engineering team, participate in emergency call-outs, and use a CMMS to log work.

Qualifications

Essential NVQ3 Electrotechnical or equivalent.
Essential 18th Edition qualification.
Around 2 years' relevant maintenance experience.
Practical electrical fault-finding skills.
Experience in technical maintenance or building services environment.
Knowledge of risk assessments and health & safety procedures.
Ability to use CMMS and basic IT tools.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across building services and assets.
Diagnose faults and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
Undertake routine maintenance, inspections and servicing to keep systems compliant and operational.
Carry out asset replacements and support minor installation works as required.
Respond to reactive maintenance requests and meet service levels.
Complete risk assessments and safe systems of work before maintenance.
Maintain accurate records and use CMMS to log work.
Provide guidance to apprentices and work with subcontractors when on site.
