Job summary

HP4 Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Multiskilled Bodyshop Technician for a busy Cardiff bodyshop. You will perform MET work, panel repairs and general bodywork across multiple disciplines, strip and refit vehicles, and ensure repairs are completed safely and to a high standard.

The role is full-time and permanent, Monday to Friday, with ongoing training and development. A full UK driving licence and proven experience in a busy bodyshop are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Multiskilled Bodyshop Technician or MET Technician.
• Experience across multiple areas of vehicle accident repair.
• Full UK Driving Licence and ability to work in a busy bodyshop environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a variety of vehicle bodyshop repairs across multiple disciplines.
• Complete MET work, including removal and refitting of mechanical and electrical components.
• Carry out panel repairs and general bodywork.
• Strip and refit vehicles in preparation for repairs.
• Identify damage and assess the work required.
• Work alongside panel beaters, paint technicians and other bodyshop staff.
• Ensure all repairs are completed safely and to a high standard.
• Work efficiently to meet productivity and quality targets.
• Accurately complete job cards and repair documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
