Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment Group is seeking an Assembly Technician in Verwood to build and balance high-precision bearings, taking products from full assembly through to final balancing. The role covers assembly, balancing and testing with a multiskilled scope.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with an early finish on Fridays and a supportive, growing company culture that invests in its people.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with bearings is strongly preferred.
• Hands-on assembly experience in precision engineering/manufacturing is desirable.
• Experience with dynamic balancing or testing would be an advantage.
• Able to read technical drawings and follow detailed procedures.
• Basic computer skills for data entry.

Responsibilities

• Carry out full assembly of high-precision bearings, spindles and shafts with fine adjustments using hand tools.
• Dynamically test finished assemblies to required specifications.
• Work from SOPs, drawings and process docs in line with production schedules.
• Move between assembly, balancing and testing as production needs change.
• Raise tooling, materials or process issues with supervisor promptly.
• Contribute to quality, continuous improvement and new product introductions, always working safely.
