Job summary

Refresco UK is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality and food safety across five UK manufacturing sites. You will work with the Head of Technical and Quality Management to develop standards, drive consistency and foster a positive quality culture within the network.

The role requires regular travel across the UK, hands-on site presence and strong stakeholder engagement to drive improvements and ensure compliance with legal, customer and GFSI requirements.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in technical, quality, or food safety roles within FMCG manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of food safety systems, auditing, and compliance.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across multiple sites and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of Refresco UK quality standards.
• Review internal audit programmes and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Conduct risk-based audits across sites, including HACCP reviews.
• Coach site internal auditors to strengthen audit capability.
• Lead gap analyses against new standards and customer requirements.
• Manage quality document control system and ensure current documentation.
