Job Title: Multisite Pharmacy Assistant

Total Working Hours: 40.0

Working Pattern: Monday - Friday

Rate of Pay: £12.63 + £1 supplement

Location: Across West, North Yorkshire area

Rowlands Pharmacy are currently looking for an experienced NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services to work as a Pharmacy Assistant in the Salford Royal Hospital. Rowlands Pharmacy is the UK’s longest established chain of community pharmacies, with a proud history dating back to 1810. Responsibilities

1. Provide courteous and effective service to all customers and patients.
2. Assist in all dispensing activities under the supervision of a pharmacist.
3. Adhere to company SOPs, Information Governance, policies, and procedures.
4. Develop positive working relationships with healthcare professionals.
5. Assist in the sale of medicines and other merchandise.
6. Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the branch.
7. Manage pharmaceutical/OTC stock and equipment effectively.
8. Implement company security procedures, especially for controlled drugs and cash handling.

Experience and Qualifications

1. NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or an accredited equivalent course (Buttercups).
2. Previous experience in a customer-focused environment.
3. Understanding of confidentiality and accurate handling of medicines.
4. Self-motivation, initiative, good interpersonal skills, ability to prioritise workload, and work to deadlines.
