Job summary

Rowlands Pharmacy is seeking a Multisite Pharmacist to support activities across Sheffield Children's Hospital and Rotherham Hospital. This role involves dispensing, patient counselling, and collaboration with clinical teams to ensure optimal pharmacy care.

The ideal candidate must be a GPhC-registered pharmacist, with a Full UK driving licence, and a strong commitment to patient safety and high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions accurately and in line with legal guidelines.

• Conduct medication reviews for safety and efficacy.
• Maintain patient records and pharmacy inventory.
• Provide immunisation services where applicable.
• Advise on OTC medications and health products.
• Participate in health promotion and public health initiatives.

Job title: Multisite Pharmacist (Newly qualified considered)Coverage Area: Sheffield Children's Hospital and Rotherham HospitalSalary: Competitive salary and excellent benefit package
Working Hours: 37.5 per week average

Monday- Sheffield 9am-6pm

Tuesday- Sheffield 9am- 6pm

Wednesday- Rotherham 9am- 6pm

Thursday- Off

Friday- Sheffield 9am-6pm

PLUS Alternate Saturdays- 10am-1pm

As a Multisite Pharmacist with Rowlands Pharmacy, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent pharmaceutical care and guidance across multiple pharmacy locations in your area. You will work closely with our experienced team to ensure the highest standards of customer service, safety, and patient well-being.

• Dispensed items is approximately 5,500 per month
• We have two pharmacists in both Hospitals, non-pharm managers and ACT multisite manager
• The hospitals use CMM systems in branch

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.
• Provide medication counselling and support to patients, answering their questions and addressing concerns.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to optimize patient care.
• Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe and effective medication management.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory.
• Provide immunization services (where applicable).
• Offer advice on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products.
• Actively participate in health promotion and public health initiatives.
