Job summary

Sysco Northern Ireland is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician based in Belfast to ensure safe operation of building services and plant equipment. You will support both planned preventative and reactive maintenance while upholding health, safety and regulatory standards.

The role covers heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and site access systems, with opportunities to work across multiple Sysco NI sites. A full driving licence and on-call flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant trades qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, or related engineering discipline.
• Flexible approach to on-call rota and occasional site travel.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, maintain and adjust heating plant and equipment.
• Perform electrical and mechanical fault diagnosis, troubleshooting and repair.
• Log, track and resolve MHE faults; maintain switch rooms and plant rooms.
