Job summary

Rowlands Pharmacy in Glasgow is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist (IP Pharmacist required) to join our Abercromby Street and Bridgeton Cross branches. The role is 28 hours per week, with Wednesday at Bridgeton Cross and Thursday/Friday at Abercromby, in a patient-focused environment enhanced by Medipac robotics.

You will dispense medicines, counsel patients, and collaborate with healthcare professionals while maintaining records and supporting health initiatives.

Qualifications

• GPhC registration as a pharmacist is required.
• Proven experience in a community pharmacy setting is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
• Provide medication counselling and patient support.
• Collaborate with doctors and nurses to optimize patient care.
• Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe and effective management.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory.
• Provide immunization services where applicable.
• Advise on over-the-counter products and healthcare items.
• Participate in health promotion and public health initiatives.
