Rowlands Pharmacy in Glasgow is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist (IP) to join our Abercromby and Bridgeton Cross branches. The role is 28 hours per week, with responsibilities including dispensing, patient counselling and collaboration with healthcare professionals to optimise care.

Our Bridgeton Cross and Abercromby branches use Medipac robotics to support efficient service; the team dispenses around 7,000 items per month.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience in a community pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
• Provide medication counselling and support to patients.
• Collaborate with doctors and nurses to optimise patient care.
• Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe medication management.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory.
• Provide immunisation services where applicable.
• Advise on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products.
