The Role:

You will be responsible for managing shipments from start to finish both import and exports, handling & co-ordinating international shipments via air, sea, road and courier, liaising with shipping lines, carriers & airlines.

You must be able to build good relationships with clients, handle documentation flow and ensure Customs clearance of goods entering or leaving the UK, ensuring full compliance.

Essential Criteria:

• Previous freight forwarding experience.
• Familiar with shipping documentation such as Bills of Lading
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Good customer services skills
• Good IT knowledge
• Positive attitude, Team player and willingness to learn.

Salary & Benefits:

Our client is looking to pay a competitive salary for the right candidate in the region of £27k – £32k depending on experience, onsite parking, 29 days including bank holidays plus pension scheme.
