Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Multimedia Designer in the United Kingdom. You will translate briefs into clear, accessible content for reports, presentations, intranet and other corporate publications, collaborating with senior leaders and stakeholders.

You will design across multimedia formats, using Adobe Creative Cloud and Office 365, while delivering high-quality work at pace and with attention to detail. A strong portfolio is essential.

Qualifications

• Experienced Multimedia Designer with a strong portfolio.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud apps including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
• Proficient in Office 365, including Word and PowerPoint design.
• Experience with video editing software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use storytelling and visual techniques to explain complex ideas.
• Excellent organisational, time and project management skills.
• Ability to coordinate content creation and sign-off.
• Produce high-quality work at pace with minimal supervision.
• Experience in graphic design, motion graphics, typography and multimedia for on/offline channels.
• Experience with print requirements and deadlines using brand guidelines.
• Degree or comparable experience in creative communications.
• Portfolio or examples across different multimedia formats.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Successful completion of employment history, criminal record, credit reference and fraud checks.

Responsibilities

• Turn ideas and complex information into clear, accessible content.
• Create high-quality content for reports, presentations, intranet, GOV.UK, colleague communications and other corporate publications.
• Take broad briefs, identify underlying communication needs and recommend effective creative approaches.
• Work closely with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders.
• Provide confident professional advice and constructively challenge ideas when another solution better meets audience needs.
• Manage competing priorities and work independently.
• Translate briefs into strong creative solutions quickly, combining pace with accuracy, accessibility and attention to detail.
• Support internal communications and wider organisational priorities through multimedia content.
• Present one selected portfolio project during interview, explaining the brief, personal contribution, decisions and outcome.
