Job summary

MandM is seeking a Multi-Media Designer for a 1-year maternity cover in Hereford. Role is hybrid (3 days in office) within the Buying - Creative department, focusing on multimedia content across marketing channels, including video and AI-driven edits.

You will craft dynamic designs, collaborate with channel teams, and support print and digital assets. The ideal candidate holds a design degree or has commercial design experience, with strong Adobe CC skills and a keen interest in generative AI

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in design or relevant creative experience.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to handle timelines in a fast-moving retail environment.
• Genuine interest in generative AI tools and AI-driven image/video editing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design web and email communications for seasonal campaigns and daily touchpoints.
• Collaborate with channel teams to resize imagery for homepages, social media, and banners.
• Produce print design assets such as catalogue artwork when required.
• Use AI tools to create product editorials and short-form video assets.
• Create basic motion graphics and dynamic text overlays for video content.
• Ensure multi-market video exports have localised text and correct aspect ratios.
• Present creative ideas and project learnings to senior stakeholders.
• Participate in design reviews and workflow meetings to maintain visual consistency.
• Maintain project folders and assets for smooth handoffs.
