Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver to join our Store to Home team, delivering B&Q products to customers’ doors in Doncaster.

The role follows a two-week rotating shift: Week 1 Mon-Fri, Week 2 Sun-Thu, starting at 11:00, with 40 hours per week. You will hold a full UK driving licence (Cat C), CPC, and tachograph compliance, record hours per WTD, and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to undertake pre-employment DBS check.
• Be prepared to commute to Doncaster (DN4 8DG) for the required shift pattern.
• Full UK driving licence with Cat C entitlement.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence; no disqualifying endorsements.
• Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customer premises on multidrop basis (avg 16 drops off-peak, 24 drops peak).
• Maintain accurate driving/working time records per WTD regulations (Tachomaster and manuals).
• Operate company vehicles safely, legally, and efficiently.
• Ensure correct products and delivery documentation are provided to customers.
• Inform customers of ETA and communicate delays professionally.
